Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question:
When I was a kid, there was one house in the neighborhood giving out full-sized cans of pop to us on Halloween night. The minute we were out the door, we would make a mad dash to their door to make sure they didn't run out before we had a chance to claim our own can of pop. Such a big treat in the days before pop was as accessible as milk at home.
So this week's question is:
What are you giving out for treats to the kids this year?
We are giving out treat-sized chocolate bars, about 4 per kid.

I usually buy and give out, candy that my husband and I like, in case there are any left overs.
I would have made a beeline to that house for a can of pop, too! :)
We live on a very busy road, so we never get trick-or-treaters. We'll take the kids to a neighborhood down the road so they'll get to score some good candy, though. ;)
Why I Could Never Be a Vampire
We usually give out the snack size candy bars.
Whatever doesn't get eaten before the doorbell rings.
Have a great weekend!
Our neighborhood is the one folks drop their kids off in. We get tons of kids.
We usually give out the fun size(terrible name, Whats fun about having to open 4 wrappers just to get a snack) candy bars or other candies. When we run out we just shut off the lites.
A guy I works with gives out beer to parents.
I bought a big bag of chocolates...I keep wondering if it is enough...we don't want extras because we don't want leftovers.
When I was a kid we had a man in my neighborhood who gave out full-sized candy bars!
