Aloha Friday - Heels or Flats?
Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question:
Which do you wear more often when you leave the house? Heels or flats?
For me, it's heels all the way. Not sure if it's from all those years of wearing them in the office or because of my high arches. Either way, they are much more comfortable for me.

Make Your Own Playdough for Rainy Day Fun
With so much rain and a long cold winter on the horizon, I thought I would share how easy it is to make your own playdough. If you do any baking at all, you probably already have the ingredients in your cupboard. But best of all, little hands can join in and customize their own color or flavor while you can feel good knowing exactly what's in that big ball of dough they are playing with.
1 tsp flavor is optional (I don't use it since I don't want her to be tempted to eat it)
Here's a list of what you will need:
1 cup flour 1/2 cup salt
2 tbsp cream tartar 2 tbsp veg oil
1 cup water food coloring
1 tsp flavor is optional (I don't use it since I don't want her to be tempted to eat it)
Flour, salt and cream of tartar in the pan with water and
vegetable oil in the measuring cup
Mix it together over medium/low heat and add drops
of food coloring
Stir slowly and adjust color if necessary
After a few minutes, it will start to pull away from the bottom of the pan
and start to form a ball
Turn it out onto a floured surface
After kneading the soft warm dough for a few minutes
You will end up with this:
A perfect, silky soft ball of playdough
Just keep it in an air-tight container or zip lock bag when not in use. Should last for several months when properly stored.
And for even more fun,
check out your local second-hand shop for cookie cutters, rollers
and pastry cutters which is where we found all of these.
Hours and hours of fun while recycling too!

Favordeal.com Jewelry Giveaway with Review 2 WINNERS!! (ENDED)
First Winner is Gioia T
Second Winner is Michael Q
Nothing can personalize your wardrobe more easily than accessories and when I say "accessories", I mean JEWELRY! All kinds of styles, colors and textures can add drama to your outfit or just a little something to pump up that perfect cliche little black dress or casual white blouse with your favorite jeans.
If you like to personalize your wardrobe and show off your style, check out these beautiful jewelry items I received from Favordeal.com. They have something to suit every style and every occasion!
First off, I was amazed by how quickly my jewelry items arrived. Each one was carefully packed as you can see here:
Each crystal has been carefully wrapped to prevent damage during shipping!
Once I had everything set out and unwrapped, I was able to examine the quality and workmanship.
This necklace is perfect for so many tops and dresses I have.
I like it's antique silver toned finish and it has a lot of weight
to it so I know it will hang nicely.
This bracelet has a pretty checkerboard-cut red crystal center
in a delicate lacy antique gold tone design. Very pretty and nice
and light so it won't weigh down my wrist.
The purple crystal drop earrings are dynamite! I love how
they just skim my shoulders without being too heavy on
delicate earlobes
And this tiger head ring with sparkling crystals
was in my hands less than 5 minutes before my daughter took
off with it. It's gorgeous and I know she is going to love it!
