Aloha Friday - What's In A Name?

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question:

I've always found it interesting how it's usually a person's middle name that has a story behind it.  Some babies are named after a famous person, a relative or another influential person in the parent's life.

So today's question is "What is your middle name and is there a story behind it?"

My middle name is "Ann" which is probably the most common for anyone name Deborah so in my case, no story and no relative named Ann, just the obvious choice to go with my first name.

My parents were creative with all four of us kids' names - so they incorporated variations of theirs into ours. My middle name was supposed to be 'Michel', but my dad accidentally wrote it as 'Michael' because that's his name. When my mom saw that, she wasn't too happy, so she added an accent mark above the 'a'. ;)

Ha! Ya know - I most always comment on Aloha Fridays.

My middle name is FAITH.

I don't know if there is a story per se. But - I do know that MY grandmothers middle name is (Lena)FAITH. I was named after her (and Shari Lewis). ALMOST every 1st born female on that side of the family has FAITH as a middle name. That also includes my daughter (Kassandra FAITH) and my grand daughter (Hannah FAITH Ann).

I just had FAITH tattooed on the under neath side of my right wrist (pictures upon request. lol). My daughter (who also has the same middle name) asked for the exact same tattoo in the exact same spot for her 30th birthday.

So there you have it. Don't you just roll your eyes went you see a big fat long post from me? LOL LOL LOL

You might have guessed but my first name is not REALLY "Simply". Shocked I know.

My first name is the same as my dads but my middle name is not a family name. I have been called by my middle name all my life unless I am signing checks or paper work then I sign my full name and that for some reason screws with people.

I don't think I have a middle name, but the odd thing is: I almost thought I did when I saw your question. Because as a child, I gave myself the name Antoinette.

I love that name.

My middle name is Ann too. Well so is my mom's and one of my sister's. I think it just goes nicely with any name. LOL.

Oh no! My parents didn't see fit to give me a middle name.I sure wish I had another choice. I certainly wouldn't use Doylene if I did.

Mine was meant to be Ann after both my greatgrandmothers, but my mum decided against it as my initials would have been RAC, a motoring company in the UK, so instead I don't have one :-(
