Elf On The Shelf Ideas

For those of you who have an Elf on the Shelf, here are some cute ideas our little Georgia has been up to.   Check back all month for ideas and inspiration for your own little elf as I will be posting her adventures every few days.
Here she's found my daughter's bag of leftover Halloween candy.  Has her hands tucked into an empty wrapper and another on her head.  What isn't shown in the photo is the other couple of crumpled up empty bags on the floor under her.  Perfect opportunity to throw out some of that candy you don't want your kids to eat.
The next morning, she is sleeping off her candy binge from the night before in this hammock made from pieces of tulle fabric my daughter was playing with.  The black piece of tulle in the center has some folded construction paper taped to it and them folded in half to make a chair.  Then just tied each end of the hammock off a drapery rod.  I like that the elf uses my daughter's items to construct her projects.
Last night she toilet papered my cabinet.  Pieces of toilet paper have been taped at the top (out of eyesight) with some painter's tape to keep them in place for the day.  Georgia (our little elf's name) is tucked into the remaining toilet roll with her hands on her hips with a slight lean forward so she can look over the activities of the day.  This would work on any tall piece of furniture like a bookcase or armoire.

If you're looking for more ideas, check back in a few days when her next adventures will be posted.

Hope you find some inspiration for your own little elf!

My youngest daughter (now 14) has an elf. I'll have to tell her to pose it for some good Instagram photos. :)

Merry Christmas Deb!
