Online Shopping 101

We have probably had one of the best Summer seasons on record if you rate based on sunny weather.  It was so hot here some nights, I had to peel off the covers and let it all hang out, whether I wanted to or not.

But there's no getting around it.  Fall is definitely in the air and with Fall comes cool evenings and cooler nights.  After using little more than a sheet on the bed for the past few months, I thought it would be nice to update our bedroom with some modern bedding.  And you know what it's like when you share a bedroom with a man.  No flowers or frills.

So with my 4 year old in tow, I headed to the nearest department store in our little town.  How long do you think I was able to look at bedding with her tagging along?  If you guessed five minutes, you'd be right.  How you moms with three and four kids underfoot manage, I'll never know.

Out of the store and back to the car we went empty handed.

Then it hit me.  Why not look on line?  After all, the selection would be near limitless and I knew that CSN Stores would ship right to the front door.

So once we arrived home,  I found my daughter a little project to do, poured myself a cup of coffee and jumped online.  Take a look at these gorgeous bedding sets that I found!  Why had I wasted my time dragging a 4 year old through a crowded department store when fabulous bedding sets like these were just a quick click away??

I love how this one would look perfect on our sleigh bed!

The perfect neutral!

This set looks cozy and neutral, perfect to keep the hubby happy!

And as much as I hate to think about it, I know with the cooler weather comes the time to start thinking about Christmas shopping.  And after our trip to find bedding, you can bet I will be doing as much of my shopping on line as possible.

How about you?  Will you be shopping on line this Christmas?

Do all my Xmas online each year.
wouldn't do it any other way.

Find it in the stores, go online. Free shipping, sometimes gift wrapping. It is a life saver.

When I traveled for work all the time I got started with online shopping for the convenience of time. But now I don't travel for work anymore so I do it because it makes my life easier.

But I still say, BAH HUMBUG!

Yes, I finally convinced my husband to shop online because I cannot stand the crowds of rude people at the stores.

He listened to me last year and found that he liked it better. The sales online are just as good as in the stores sometimes.

Those designs are nice. Your interior decorating skills deserve recognition.

I have shopped online for things, even for Christmas. It all depends on what the item is, and how lazy I am.

Don't think I've ever seen bedding like the one with the birds. But, I kinda like it - in a weird sort of way. :)

I'm beginning to shop more and more online; beginning to know what I can trust - I don't like the hassle of having to return items.

I never stop decorating my house, and my six pack of kids never stop tearing it up. I put a pic of my kitchen on my blog today and am wondering what I was smoking that led me to share my kitchen with everyone?? I always enjoy decorating posts. I've done a few, only because I moved into a house a couple of years ago that was part hunting camp, part crime scene, and am still trying to make it livable.
Keep it up!

Love those sheets! They are both pretty, especially those birds.

We have decided to not do any buying this year, but secretly I already bought hubby's present. Online.

I do a good bit of my shopping online. I can order and have it sent to the office till Christmas or whatever occasion. It is also a great way to find replacement parts for cars and appliances.

I love all the sheet sets -which one did you get?

I have done most of my shopping online for several years now. BUT...now that I work at the Priority Package Building in the post office, where all we handle are...well, priority packages...and I've seen the way they're thrown around, I may never shop online again!
