What did you do with your wedding dress?  Trash, Stash or Treasure it?

I didn't even know about this until my niece,who is getting married in July mentioned it to me.  Apparently some modern brides are choosing to trash their wedding gowns after the ceremony rather than store the thing for years in a closet or old trunk.

I really liked the idea.  I mean seriously, you will never wear it again even if you were to remarry sometime down the road and the odds that some distant heir would give a crap about it is pretty remote.  I expect mine, which happens to be taking up a lot of room in my closet, will end up in the local charity shop one day.
