Paranormal or Imagination? Part II

If you missed the first couple of posts on strange happenings, you can read about my house Here and my parent's house Here.

Today I'm again writing about some unusual experiences at my folk's place.

It was during the late 1970's and I was still in my teens.  My cousin was staying over to keep me company since my parents were at their cottage for the weekend. After a day of hanging out at the house, watching TV, listening to music and talking about boys, we went to bed.  I slept in my room and my cousin slept in another room which is now the office, across the hall.

During the night, I remember waking up a couple of times to the sound of footsteps and water running in the kitchen and bathroom but thought nothing of it.

We awoke the next morning and while making breakfast, I asked my cousin if she had had trouble sleeping since I had heard her up in the night a couple of times. She made a joke about me trying to scare her and laughed it off....but I wasn't laughing.  When she realized I was serious, the color drained from her face.  She insisted that she had not been up the night before at all and thought it was me she heard walking around and turning the taps on and off.

We talked about that experience for many years after and I know her well enough to know she's telling the truth.  She wasn't up during that night and I know I wasn't yet we both heard the footsteps and water.  Not only that, she vowed never to sleep there again and to this day, she never has.

Things like this and many more have happened to me during my life. maybe I should also share! I am a christian, as you know - and believe that these happenings are supernatural - you have obviously been given a gift in that you can hear and possibly see ' things in the supernatural '. Looking forward to hearing some more .. episode 3 coming up ... :)

omg! this is scary. I lived in a house that was haunted. One day my mom and me where walking by their bedroom and the bed was shaking and as soon as we walked in it stopped and my mom thought it was an earthquake but the hanging light didn't move at all we then knew something was going on in our home. This is just one of many things that I, my mom & dad experienced luckily my sisters where to little to know anything. I get the chills just thinking about it.
