Aloha Friday - Recurring Dream?

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question.

What do an elevator and a purse have in common?

They happen to be the main theme around two of my most common dreams

Let's talk about the purse first.  I regularly dream I've lost it and then spend half the night looking for it.  I usually wake up exhaused but relieved to find my purse is still on the hook where I left it before bed.

Now the elevator.  It's always either malfunctioning or very poorly designed.  Sometimes the floors have holes in them or there is a huge gap to cross before getting on or I have trouble getting on at all because it is going so fast.  Other times the doors won't shut properly or the car stops between floors.  But there is always a sense of danger.

How about you, do you have any recurring dreams?

Only one...I am back in college and sitting in a classroom. Not sure what it means but I have had it for years!

I have recurring dreams about things happening to my family. It's not anything realistic, it's more like my greatest concerns being played out in a dream.

That elevator is the scariest I've ever hear:) Just because I get claustrophobic sometimes:(

Great questions for Aloha Friday! I used to have several very frequent and recurring dreams! One was about me swimming in our community pool back in the small town we grew up in ~ And swimming to the side to crawl out and I was naked and could never get out?? What the heck was that all about?? The other was me swinging way up high on a "tree swing" and then swinging down really fast and "crashing" into the side of an older 2 story house where I used to go "Brownie" meetings when I was a little girl - but the "crash" landings always ended being soft and basically no feelings at all?? Not sure what that was about either?! Happy Friday to all.

I haven't had them for some time now, but I used to have a recurring dream about alien invasion and being chased, then I had a recurring dream about going into an old apartment that had a ghost girl in it and she wanted me to stay with her forever. Both were pretty scary. Glad I haven't had them lately.

I use too, but I haven't had it in a long time. I'd be swimming, and then I try to come up, and it's ice and I can grab a few breaths in the very little space. Man, I haven't thought of that in ages. Thanks for stopping by too. Havea good weekend.

Years ago I did, but when I figured out why I kept having it, I quit having it.

Yes...the dream centers around the issue in my personal life, which just adds more stress once I wake up from the dreams.

Yes - tidal waves and cyclones! So weird... and scary! I I'm always trying to figure out what in my life is going on to trigger these dreams, but I can't always figure it out! Oh well!

Thanks for stopping by yesterday! Hope you have a fantastic weekend! :-)

For whatever reason, I don't remember my dreams when I wake up in the morning.
