Aloha Friday - Career Edition!

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question.

I have so much respect for moms who work outside the home and still manage all the challenges of being a mom and running a busy household.  This has definitely led to more and more moms finding a career they can do from home which leads to this week's question:

Do you work at a paid job from home and if so, what do you do?

I work from home somedays. It's hard when the family is there tho.

Putting my hands up like a mime pretending there is a glass wall doesnt keep them out of my office. Go figger.

I design equipment.

OH, I aint a mom!!! Yikes

The wife works 3 days a week teaching 3 yr old preschool but I swear she puts more hours in at home getting the crafts ready for class.

I started my own web & graphic design business with a few select regular clients as well as a custom gift basket business that while not lucrative, allows me to help contribute to the household budget and have some 'mad money'. :) No way could I have continued in the corporate world working the 60+ hours I used to work and still maintain the household. Heck, even being home all day, I still have trouble keeping up! ;) Have a great weekend! :)

I've looked high and low for a legit work from home job, but I can't find one. It makes me sad.

I earn a TINY bit of money from selling things online, or from certain click or type to earn kinds of sites. Just a little extra pocket money, not even almost enough to make a living from.

I used to work at home, for a large department store chain, managing their mailers. Then I worked out of the house for many years. Now I'm lucky that I don't have to work.
