Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question.
What is your favorite style of jewelry?
For me, it's diamonds but not just any diamond, Black Alaska Diamonds! These long slender faceted Hematite Stones were very popular during the 1950's and are my favorite jewelry style. I've been buying and selling these for years. Here's a peek at my ring collection:
These beauties I wrote about on my other blog HERE.
The ring in the center has been sold (I don't wear white gold) and it has
since been replaced with another yellow gold one in a different style
(not pictured)
Here is one I bought the other day and my first
in 14K yellow gold (all the others are 10K)
Got it for a great price $105.00 all in and no sizing necessary!
So this week I'm asking, "What's your favorite type of jewelry?"
PS: If any of you have one of these laying around you'd like to sell, please let me know. I'm always buying!

I like "big" rings... not too gaudy but elegant :)
I love the look of things that sparkle, especially Swarovski crystal items.
While I am crazy about diamonds, wearing silver hoop earrings is part of getting dressed everyday. Every single day.
I go through phases. My current phase would be dangle earrings.
Have a great Mother's day!

Those are really cool, Deb! My favorites are diamonds - and two tone gold...both yellow and white gold together...with diamonds. ;) Recently I got myself some really cool black diamond pieces to shake things up a bit. ;)
Have a great weekend - and Happy Mother's Day! :)
Aloha Friday: Skype-in on Mother's Day
It really depends on what catches my eye. Fake or real.
Aloha!
I'm pretty simple when it comes to jewelry. I prefer silver or white gold. I also love diamonds, opals, and abalone shell.
I like jewelry that is bright and colorful and fun. One of my favorite things ever was a bubblegum machine necklace that was a plastic orange crayon hanging of a bright red plastic cord. It can be very childlike, but I will LOVE it.
Great informative post. Thanks for posting this wonderful update. Truly enjoyed reading such marvelous post!
