Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question.
Last week, my husband took our five-year-old daughter on their first trip together. It was a short 2-hour flight to another town for three nights. This is the first time he's had her away from home on his own overnight since she was born. I worried a bit and found myself watching for emails from them just to keep up with what they were doing and to know they were okay. By the time I was getting in the car to pick them up at the airport, I was MORE than ready to have her back in my care. One more night and I probably would have started to freak out.
How about you?? How long before you start to climb the walls when your spouse takes your children away overnight??

I've only been away over night, away from the children, twice in 10 years. Crazy, huh?? Each time I was SO ready to see my kiddos again!
About an hour : )LOL!!
No usually Michael calls me and ask 20 questions every hour!!
It hasn't happened here...yet! I think my hubby is going to be like a lost puppy since he never has 100% of the kid responsibility, I do it all! But I better start training him before I head off to BlogHer next year. Hopefully by then he'll have it figured out. ;)
Thanksgiving is Right Around the Corner
Mine have been grown and gone for some time now so I don't have to worry about them.
my wife doesnt like to travel without me so I dont think she did an overnite away for years. I can take care of my own youngins.
My kids were never away from me for more than one night while visiting their grandparents.
