Where Are My Glasses?

Well, I would have loved to have written a post yesterday if I could have found my eyeglasses.  What is it about kids that they know exactly how to get you where it hurts without even putting any effort into it?  I have to give her credit for that, I wonder if she gets it from me?

So I'm searching all over the house looking high and low for any pair of prescription glasses so I can read some blogs and you know where I finally found them?  At the bottom of her toy basket.  Turns out that of all the toys she had scattered around the house yesterday, this is one of the only things she managed to "put away" in her toy basket.

So I finally had to admit it.  I need to buy a spare pair of glasses so next time she wants to pretend she's me by wearing mine, I have another pair on hand until they turn up or I have to replace them because she's broken them.

Once I had my glasses back, I thought I'd do a little glasses online shopping.  I mean, seriously, what's better than having the items you're shopping for show up at the door?  Nothing that I can think of right off.  Don't have to get dressed, find a sitter, or even leave the house.

And I found a site that will give us a 10% discount off a purchase of their glasses. It's www.glassesusa.com/ and all we have to do is use the code mommy10 to qualify!  Hey and while you're there, why not fan them on facebook!

I'm always a fan of great on-line shops!!  Aren't you??

Thank god for online shoppig. I don't need new glasses at the moment, but I'll keep them in mind for the future. What can't you buy online these days? And I'm loving it.

I found mine in the refrigerator once. (And...shhhhhhhh!...I didn't even have any little ones around to blame.)

I wear contacts to correct my distance vision, but in doing so they blur my reading vision. Ergo, I wear reading glasses to correct the effects of my contacts for reading. Now, if I remove my contacts, I can read perfectly but in the process it blurs my distance vision. Now, is that clear?? LOL

Anyway, I am embarrassed to admit that I have already spent time looking for my glasses, only to later find them >>>>>> on top of my head!

What a compliment that she is pretending to be you! At least you now know where to look in case you lose them again.

Ya really take them for granted when you have them but it's amazing how much we depend on them. I only have one pair. If they get gone I'm pretty useless.

Of course! The toy basket. It's the first place I look now whenever I am missing anything. It used to be the trash. Thank goodness they have outgrown that gross phase!!!

I was all ready for them to be on top of your head. I've done that (more times than I care to admit).
