Anyone who loves glitter will just adore the sparkle created by the vintage pieces of the 1950's. These are so well made compared to the reproductions available today. Each and every sparkling clear crystal or rhinestone has been set in the shiny rhodium backing by hand. These are NOT the glued in stones you see today that fall out the minute you turn your back, these are claw set, ie, sturdy and durable and will last another 60 plus years if cared for properly.
As is usual in many an earring of this era, these sparkling beauties are screw backs so no matter what your lobe thickness, you can be sure to find the perfect comfortable fit. The tops of the earrings are approximately 1/2" x 3/4" in size. The matching necklace is 13" in length with an additional 2 3/4" in extenders for a custom fit.

They are gorgeous! I do think that collecting this kind of bling could get me into lots of trouble!
You bet I want in on this one!!
I have a vintage rhinestone necklace that was given to my Grandma from my Grandpa when they were first married. I treasure this. My Grandma will be turning 90 in March and still driving around town.
Gotta get that link up!
I love vintage Bling :)
I finally just found the link to your other blog! What a beautiful collection and the story of finding the bracelet while doing demo on the fireplace - how cool!!
This is gorgeous! I just love vintage stuff. They definitely don't make things like they used to. My wedding band was my grandmother's and it is just so simple and pretty. I love pieces with some history to them! It's fun to think about who wore it and the experiences they had, etc.
Wow, that is beautiful. Sign me up :)
It is gorgeous!I just stopped your other blog. They all are beautiful.
Have a wonderful week Deb!
Oooh! Enter me! I love this kind of bling--so pretty.

You have incredible pieces! I finally got the follower link to work as it wouldn't work for me last week!
Oooh, lovely. Why give away? Keep! Or give to me.
My mom read your blog and called me right away... she is digging out some old family jewelry to give to me!
I will send you a picture of the necklace from my grandma. Not sure if there is any value to it or not.
That is absolutely beautiful! How in the world could you be willing to give it up?
I'm a follower, of course!
I admire you for putting yet another item on your already full plate - or should I say platter? Oh well...I guess it takes one to know one (lol).
Have a wonderful week in Motherhood!
Wowzers! That one is something else! Would go great with my bunny ears, dontcha think?
This is not really an entry - just runnin' my mouth! I will twit it though - see if I can rustle up some more following-the-leaderers for ya.
Gorge stuff!!!!
Pretty pretty Bling!! Who would NOT LOVE that set!?!?!
How beautiful! It reminds me of my grandma's old costume jewelery.
So, I comment once, right? Cuz I'm your favorite follower.

I just visited your other blog: What a treasure trove, literally!! :)
So pretty!
They are beautiful!! I have a few pieces of my moms old jewelry and I agree they are very well made. I should go find it!
I am just stopping by to say hi, you need not include me in this giveaway (but I am still on for the other one!) xoxo
i would love to win this glam giveaway. Screw back earrings are the only things I seem to be able to wear these days (plus it always feels so retro to just pull an earring off one's ear!)
What a beautiful and generous giveaway. THANK YOU!
I am a follower of your blog.
Happy holidays,
xo
Now that is a beautiful necklace! Not something I would wear, but very pretty.
I just read a novel set in the
30's and screwback earrings are mentioned several times. That got me thinking about my aunt who always wore them and now here you are mentioning them. Funny how we hear something we haven't heard in a long time and then we hear references to it several more times right after.
I created a secondary blog just so I can start participating in these contests. However, I don't have any new followers yet. So I won't waste you time. But when I start getting some followers, I'll start blogging about your give-a-ways.
my new site is www.corriehowe.wordpress.com
Absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing a spirit that is rarely seen anymore! I am inspired, thanks again!!
Very neat. I love the earrings. :)
I haven't had a chance to play much on blogland but will take a picture of the jewelery soon and send it to you!
We are just a tad busy keeping up with the snow!
Visiting from Stacey Warner's, where I saw your comment. Don't generally enter giveaways, but I'm a fool for vintage, especially 1950's stuff.
Pick me! Pick me!
I'm not much for bling...but vintage bling is an altogether different story. Sign me up :)
Awesome! Pick me!
I know two people who would like this set.
How in the heck did I miss this post? I read every post of yours but I missed this one! Sign me up, Girl. I'll also blog about it on my next blog post, today.
What a gorgeous set!!
Me again! I blogged about it with a link back to your blog.
