Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question.
This weekend, it's finally sunny and warm so we are making the 2-hour drive to my folks place for the weekend. The hubs will continue on to check on construction at our cottage but our 6-year-old daughter and I will hang with my folks until he picks us up on his way back Sunday night.
How about you? What are your plans this weekend?

Nothing planned since I lost my Dad 40 years ago. And my oldest son is taking my hubby golfing, so it will be a quiet day.
I will be applying polyurathane to our stair remodel at the house.
Work in the garden. Mow. Maybe start on the new fence gate.
Maybe reinstall the headpipe and muffler on the sons car. Am sure the neighbors will appreciate that as he leaves for work at 4:30 in the morning.
Just another wild weekend.
Bringing the 6 year old for a sleepover at the in-laws. The 3 year old will stay home with us and no doubt keep us busy. Then off to a parish picnic on Sunday - weather permitting.
hair cut, painting rattan furniture on the deck, bbq with friends, church...the usual :)

Now that sounds like a perfect weekend! This weekend I'll be elbow deep in winemaking. And I'll spend some time getting clothes organized for our trip to Seattle in a couple of weeks so (maybe) I'll be less frazzled when it's time to pack. ;)
The Bee Incident
My son's 5th birthday was almost a month ago. Thanks to family conflicts, Mother's Day, and Memorial Day - we moved the party to this weekend. Will be preparing for the pirate party and lots of family in from out of town.
The hubby is sick and he is the biggest whiny baby, so probably taking care of him :)
Hubby's band is practicing tonight and not Sunday So nothing special except trying to get caught up with my blog and trying to figure out a few things. Have a great week.end.
I have to get stuff ready for a trip I'm taking next week
