I've been redecorating our 5-year-old daughter's bedroom for several weeks and slowly but surely, it's starting to come together.
One of the main things I wanted to add was pretty lighting. With no ceiling fixture in her room (yes, one more challenge of living in a house built in 1891), I wanted to add a little more bling. I couldn't buy a chandelier to hang from her ceiling but when I found this little number at a local furniture store, I jumped at it.
It works perfectly behind her big cozy chair and if you remove the delicate shade, it looks like a chandelier on a post. Lots of hanging crystals (I replaced the lucite with some spare crystal I had on hand) to reflect the light all around her room. Total glam!
