Who was I to complain!! She comes once a fortnight for three hours and it is enough for my sanity!Annie Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13511943107737624183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-796409346539226959.post-1035214044237130702009-10-11T22:16:27.701-03:002009-10-11T22:16:27.701-03:00Like NEWMUM,I don't like to cook either. Fortu...Like NEWMUM,I don't like to cook either. Fortunately, my husband knew that before we married, so he knew he wasn't getting Martha Stewart. Inwardly, he probably wishes that I'd begin to experiment and make more of a variety of things, but he never says anything. And, he will cook on Sundays.

I don't know if NEWMUM will come back to this post and comments, but if you do - WARNING - your partner probably won't significantly increase his participation in the household duties, so be prepared to add child care to house cleaning, laundry, and cooking. :)Anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08180243708565855383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-796409346539226959.post-10206680971960828202009-10-08T23:57:32.192-03:002009-10-08T23:57:32.192-03:00Hi Newmumover40, You hit the nail on the head! Me...Hi Newmumover40, You hit the nail on the head! Men are raised to expect the woman of the house to have the meals planned and prepared (could that be the way their mother's raised them??). I'm lucky though, my hubby doesn't mind cooking for us when I'm out of steam or ideas. Like you though, the cleaning up and tidying is up to me but the truth be told, he doesn't do it "right" anyway Lol!Menopausal New Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01427085574473513923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-796409346539226959.post-27343136323987841472009-10-08T23:47:28.090-03:002009-10-08T23:47:28.090-03:00So glad you are feeling better Deb!
I really hate...So glad you are feeling better Deb!

I really hate to cook. My partner though loves it and is a better cook than me. Yet still, one of the very few clashes we have had has been over me not having dinner organised when he got home! What is it with that??!!

We both work, but he works a lot more hours than me. So, I do take more responsibility for the household side of things and do all the washing and a lot of the cleaning/tidying. But I HATE cooking!!!! hahahahahaAnnie Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13511943107737624183noreply@blogger.com
