Aloha Friday - Your First Album/CD?

Aloha Fridays are brought to you by Kailani in beautiful Hawaii at An Island Life where Friday is the day to take it easy while anticipating the coming weekend. Today I'm going to link up, take it easy and ask a question.

I remember my first "record player" when I was in my early teens.  I couldn't wait to go out and buy my first LP and when I did, I purchased "Electric Jewels" by April Wine.  My second record was "School's Out" by Alice Cooper.

How about you?  Do you remember the first LP/CD/Tape you purchased?

  5. Being a teen-ager in the 50s I loved Pat Boone, Elvis, Everly Brothers, Connie Francis, etc. So I would guess it would have been something #1 on the charts that month.

  6. We had one of the old huge console type radio/ turntables. We wore out Johny Cash's Ring of Fire album. They still have a large collection of 45s and 78s

My first actual purchase of an album was prolly Cheech and Chong. My parents were really proud.

The radio in my shop at home is and old 8 Track player.
