Royal Wedding Fashion Flubs - Here's What I Think

I know there has been a lot of attention paid to the fashions worn by those who attended Friday's Royal Wedding, but no one has taken more of a cyber beating than Prince Andrew's daughter, Princess Beatrice.

I admit it, my jaw dropped when I saw that now "infamous" hat.

But you have to give her credit for the Valentino haute couture ensemble.  From the neck down she was stunning and had the figure to wear it all perfectly!

If her hair had been tied up in a neat updo with a hat sporting a few feathers rather than that hideous, mega-sized bow, she could have been on the best-dressed list.

So Here's a Tip

If it's not Halloween and the crap on your hat is so high,  you can't sit up straight in a car, maybe it's time to ditch it and start over!

And by the way, as bad as that Royal Wedding hat was, she has worn worse!

  1. I enjoyed your post ... these hats are really a work of "art"... I like to view art on walls or on display. Having said that, I have to applaud her for having the courage to wear these on her head ... she is young and exploring fashion, having fun in the process I'm sure...

  3. Celebrated designers make this stuff so it is spose to be cutting edge. Pretty sure I couldnt have pulled it off as weel as she did.

  4. I still think the Royal Wedding hat was worse. Why wouldn't the Queen put her foot down!! It was horrible and those poor people who had to sit behind her! I kept calling it the Prince "sign" hat.

  7. Oh my word! I was watching the wedding and saw her get out of the car in that hat. Even the news people paused and didn't know quite what to say. It is the silliest hat I have ever seen and can't believe she wore it.

  9. Okay, I actually like the butterfly fascinator...well, better than the Beauty and the Beast bow thing she wore to the wedding. I heard Tracey Ullman, that British Comedienne describe some of the fascinators as 'horrifiers' and I thought that was hilarious!

  13. Hmmm...the antlers or the butterflies...you're right - I don't know which is worst.

Entertaining young lady. LOL I'm sure she has a plan and a motive; or maybe not.
