  3. We got the reverse! And then, we got a balmy day when all the snow melted.

My front lawn looks like it just woke up and is having a bad hair day.

    I heart your WW pics.

  4. We had two feet right before Christmas and I'm ready for it all to be gone. Yours, on the other hand, looks so pretty. Ours is now all brown :(

  5. I agree...you have a beautiful view no matter how you look at it. We're having the same type of weather...it's so cozy.

  6. Oh, it IS beautiful! I am anticipating doing a similar post this week, as we have snow predicted twice in the upcoming days - already took my "before" picture - quite dreary, but the "after" should be spectacular!

  9. Wow! Every single day this week, J would say, "I wish it snows here in Hong Kong." He would dearly love to spend a snowy Christmas in Canada.

  15. How beautiful. We got a surprise storm last night which was really odd and caused all kinds of problems since no one here is used to driving in it. We get it maybe once a year.

  16. I really hate the snow. It's pretty, but brrrrrr! We had a white Christmas, it all melted, and then it snowed again yesterday. Ugh. I miss summer. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pix. :)

  17. Snow...doesn't it remind you to appreciate the small moments of peace tucked into the holidays (and often hard to find)? Seattle came to a standstill last year with all our snow. And the mayor lost his job! Thank you for the beautiful pictures!

  18. We had a little snow right before Christmas, but the only thing it stuck to was my deck. LOL! The ground was to warm, but I was hoping for a white Christmas...no luck!

  39. Well, Deb, I've been looking for hints of just where you live in this great, big country of ours and I think I'm getting closer - especially after you mentioned the no-Sunday shopping rule! Our landscape looks just like yours today. Snowed all morning today after a green Christmas and then started to warm up and rain.
We went shopping on the 28th. We had promised to take my daughter to get new riding boots over the holidays, so we bit the bullet and faced the crowds. It wasn't too bad. Got a few cute cut-price Christmas items at IKEA, too! Cheers.
